Camp Sunflower was born from the understanding that all families need good quality, safe, and affordable day camps during the summer.
We understand that many families can’t afford long holidays or fancy camps. But we also know that children need a place to learn, grow, and have fun. Our goal is to provide an affordable, safe, and fun camp for children in Victoria, British Columbia. We will accept Jumpstart grants.

We swim twice per week. Other activities vary week to week, and include sports, arts and crafts, and field trips. Each week, we send out a schedule of the following week’s activities. We work with partner organizations, such as Beacon Hill Children’s Farm, the Bug Zoo, and tours of places like the Fire Hall, to arrange field trips whenever possible. The cost of all activities is included in camp fees.

We understand that the costs of camps can be a challenge for families, and we are working keep our camp fees as low as possible, while ensuring that we run a safe and legal camp. Camp fees are used for camp expenses, such as paying for rent, staff wages, and art supplies. Camp Sunflower is non-profit, however we do not receive government funding and rely on camp fees to cover costs.
We accept Jumpstart Grants. We encourage you to check if your child is eligible.  If your child has been approved for a Jumpstart Grant, please forward the approval email to [email protected] within 24 hours of completing this form, and the funds your child has been approved for will be included as payment. Please note acceptance of Jumpstart funding is subject to verification.
